End-User License Agreement

1. Acceptance of This Agreement

This End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you and Nova Forge Software Ltd ("we", "us", or "our") governing your use of USBProtect (the "Software"). By downloading, installing, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with this EULA, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software on devices you own or control, for personal or commercial purposes.

3. Restrictions

  • You may not sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or distribute the Software to any third party.
  • You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except where permitted by applicable law.
  • You may not modify, create derivative works of, or remove any proprietary notices from the Software.
  • You may not use the Software for any unlawful purpose or in violation of this EULA.

4. Updates

We may release updates to the Software to add features, improve performance, or address security issues. Some updates may be required for the Software to continue functioning correctly.

5. Data and Privacy

USBProtect runs locally on your device and is designed to minimize data collection. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on what information is collected and how it is used.

6. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all associated intellectual property rights, remain the sole property of Nova Forge Software Ltd. This EULA does not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Software is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will prevent all possible security threats.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nova Forge Software Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Software.

9. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. It will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any provision of this EULA. Upon termination, you must uninstall the Software from all devices. See our uninstallation instructions for guidance.

10. Changes to This Agreement

We may modify this EULA from time to time. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

This EULA shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
